Democratic Values, Local Action.
The Folsom Area Democratic Club stands for human rights and social equity. We're working to fight against injustice, protect our democracy, and elect Democrats who support equal opportunity for all. We're an all-volunteer team who believe in shared values: opportunity (both economic and health), the rule of law, reproductive freedoms, gun safety, voter protection and free and fair elections, and many more. We stand opposed to much of what the Trump presidency represents and does: from the financial corruption, to the unconstitutional war in Iran that has sent energy prices in our country skyrocketing, to the broader moral degradation of the country.
Let's also be clear about what we do. We are here to support Democratic Party candidates in the greater Folsom Area, which includes Folsom, Fair Oaks, Gold River, Rancho Cordova, El Dorado Hills, Citrus Heights, and Orangevale. Whether it's writing thousands of postcards, knocking hundreds of doors, boosting social media content, or advising our candidates directly, we exist as a resource center to strengthen the Democratic Party's footprint of power in the greater Folsom Area.
Perhaps most importantly, we form a shared community of friends and neighbors. We have fun with annual fundraisers, holiday parties, a lively WhatsApp group chat, and happy hours. In other words, we're also a community. We genuinely hope you'll consider joining us!

The Folsom Area Democratic Club was chartered in the late 1990s and has been active in our community ever since — organizing, advocating, and electing Democrats across the Folsom Area and the greater Sacramento region for more than two decades.
We are one of the fastest-growing Democratic clubs in the region. We've grown from roughly 60 members in 2024 to nearly 400 members today, building one of the most dynamic and engaged memberships of any party chapter in the area.

Club meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month (excluding December) at 6:00 PM — come earlier to socialize. Register on Mobilize (below) and we'll share the meeting location with you.
Our discussions and guests provide stimulating conversation and opportunities to get involved at a level that's comfortable for you. You do not have to be a club member to attend.
